Homeownership
Owning a home shouldn’t be a distant dream.
In Kansas City, many renters pay more each month than their landlord’s mortgage payment. But saving for a down payment or qualifying for a traditional mortgage can feel out of reach. That’s why we partner with the Kansas City Community Land Trust to create homes where ownership is based on income, not speculation.

This model protects affordability now and for future buyers, while allowing residents to build equity and stability over time.
Affordable Rent
We’re developing multifamily housing with a simple goal: put more money back into renters’ pockets.
Through strategic use of housing vouchers, subsidies, and public financing tools, we provide high-quality, affordable rentals that reduce financial stress and help families save—for everyday needs or future ownership. Everyone deserves dignified housing—voucher holders included.
Cooperative Ownership & Social Housing
We’re exploring resident-led ownership and non-speculative housing models that empower communities rather than extract from them. From housing cooperatives to social housing trusts, Just Action supports alternatives to traditional landlord-tenant dynamics, and advocates for systems that treat housing as infrastructure, not an investment vehicle.
